My Family History

One of my hobbies is researching my family tree. As of January, 2004 I have found over 170 ancestors and over 13,000 relatives.
My mother's family comes from southern Germany (Baden-Wuerttemberg and Bayern). My father's family comes from various towns in Eastern Europe, many by way of England.

Please contact me if you are researching any of the surnames or towns on the following pages.

3. Spira is spelled many different ways including Spiro, Shapira, and Shapiro. This family is one of the Spira rabbinic dynasties.

This page was created on January 18, 2001. It was last updated on January 4, 2004. I will not post update dates on pages for individuals towns.

Please note that my genealogy pages used to be mirrored at the two websites I had at geocities.com and hanoch.org. Now that I have my own domain I am only mainting this page on my domain evilsnake.com and have deleted the pages on those two sites.
